Once locked, the rat will raise the arm trying to remove the bait, and bingo..!

Liquorice Allsorts are good bait, I've used apple, dates, cooked chicken etc. Usually, smear a bit of peanut butter/chocolate spread & coconut oil around it too, just to make sure...

I’ve got one , had loads of success with it in the past , double catches …… won’t use it anymore , now having a ferret nicknamed Houdini
