I've got to share this my neighbours over the road whom we're very fond of , known them for many years. I've spoken about her and her husband Terry before and him having dementia.

Well today hes took a turn for worse not stable on his feet. She rang for an Ambulance for him. Because it wasnt a CAT1 they booked her in for being picked up. f***ing 6 hours she waited.

Ambulance came to pick her up and just left them in A&E. Just had a message off her now.

Message was to say go to bed will get a taxi back. We've not been seen yet sat in A&E wtf.  Been sat there an hour and half with her husband with dementia.

This is how they get repayed for paying into this country. Can't even get him a quiet room. Knowing his predicament. Most probably many people about in A&E terry will be wanting to get up and start talking to people. Mary feeling insecure. Am f***ing angry to f**k.

Im staying up what's a few hours missed sleep to what that woman's going through. We've been there with the wifes grandmas on both sides.

One of them we had to look after due to family members living away.

But no matter how far I lived a would be there but that's me.

We had a guy in football this season have his ankle snapped during the game,  bone sticking out of his ripped sock it was disgusting. Game was abandoned , guy who did it went to cry in his car.  Was told 6-8 hour wait for ambulance and to not move him.  We ended up getting him on a stretcher we borrowed from the rugby club and putting him in the back of a emptied work van and got him to hospital in 30 mins

I know its not life threatening his injury but 6-8 hours going into nighttime would have probably sent him into some kind of shock I'd have thought

One of my old perms had a birthday bash in a slightly remote place and someone started with a heart attack and the ambulance said it was gonna be about an hour. Luckily for him there was someone not drinking that took him the 10 - 15 minute journey to the hospital and saved his life.

My son in laws dad , passed away while he waited hours for an ambulance.  The poor man died alone on the bathroom floor , as my son in law listened on the phone , whilst trying to get to him.

It's a f***ing sorry state of affairs.

Absolutely disgusting Mel, when this COVID lark was about ,I myself needed an ambulance, only to be told, can I make my own way there as there was a 13 HR yes 13 HR waiting list for an ambulance, I've just watched the news, the government are struggling to find funds to house these boatloads chaps , eh yet they are still coming in daily, illegal immigrants the government are cracking down on those working illegally, FFS , I as a mere simpleton have known about this fer fekin yonks, god knows who's giving you a labotomy if you go into hospital, and this is the britain millions gave there life for , eh,

The UK is a 3 rd world country now by it's own design.things will only get worse.just wait till the NHS is scrapped by design and see how much any medical treatment costs FFS.

That certainly seems to be the aim . Make medical care impossible to access , so that you have to pay to go private . Well still be paying for it , but the money will be wasted in other ways.

My grandmother was convinced that's what killed my grandad. He was a bricklayer and as fit as a fiddle, never smoked, wasn't a big drinker. Somebody crashed in to him on a motorbike whilst he was walking and broke his leg. Not sure on the timeline but a few days or on the day he died he complained about not feeling well, being proper out of breath whilst walking up street shopping, went to the docs and they didn't even take his blood pressure or anything. A day or so later my gran nipped out and when she got back he'd collapsed on the floor and was telling her to call ambulance but sadly didn't  make it. Maybe it was a blood clot that killed him, it was put down to a heart attack I believe, this was in the  late 80's.

Definitely no pain relief too f**k me poor c**t. I seen that watch local rugby team as a teen. Fella scored a try under posts. Opponent when chasing him down ran over front of his shin. Compound fracture on his shin. The came straight through front of his leg. Little sooty ambulance came on pitch scooted him off. Can't image been told 6 hours with a broken ankle.

4.30 this morning got the phone call to go pick her up. Kept Terry in due to him falling in the bathroom and Dumping his head. Little sod wouldn't let them take his bloods and put some fluid back into him. Said they may have to sedate him. Such a lovely guy too known him most my life wife not so much. But shes grown fond of them over the past 20 odd years. Once a proud man turned to nothing its a cruel f***ing world.
