i would say there as good as any in theuk  chubasco blood has been about for a longish time in the u s from new mexico area i think so plenty of room there for a good chase .but ive allways said it the breeding has alot to do  but the man on the end of the leash will bring the best out of the dog if he knows the game ..

more absolute shite out ya mouth mate honest you want the quality a man cant do nothing with a hare dog that cant kill you dont even relise how hard it is to get one because yuve never had one

ill explain that bitch you had wanted breeding until its tits were on the floor then cull everytghing but the one or 2 freaks may pop up in the 100 odd pups then your going

any man show a real un the land they will f**k off do it for them fed wagg and still do 3

I only seen two big staghounds on a long slip on a white tail buck and it ran away from them.

Ive very little experience of our deer, I’ve only really ran roe and I’ve taken them with every running dog I’ve had from whippet to beddy cross to deerhound cross.

A good pal of mine took me up Scotland one time and my nine year old deer/grey took a fallow doe , in the lamp , without any drama, so I can’t really comment on deer, mate .

Cheers.

thats what descent lurchers do mate theres none that take much geting to

What's the craic with them white tail charts they sound like a challenge must be good to have seen them would you say they would smoke any of our deer so to speak

There was a Brit,on here years ago or moochers can’t remember which,he was a welder I think?Married an American lady, and I think he took a lurcher stateside with him?He used to knock them over with the dog,I don’t think they run at super speeds.

I can't see them being overly rapid, but like anything, if you slip on em at a good enough distance and on terrain they love they can sometimes make dogs look silly. I've seen a red stag leave bull crosses slipped on it for dust, it was clearing ditches like they were nothing, just galloped like a horse in to the nearest wood. I've said it before, I'd love to see a good saluki on a pronghorn, and see if the rumours about their running prowess are actually true.

And we must be very naive to think that our coursing breds are the most superior hunting athlete on the planet, not even close, when you see those saluki dogs chasing down an antelope and not even putting a bend in one for over 5 mins, some of the best of the best, Lucky, Bulldozer, all would need a defib and none would even put a bend in one, there's dogs and there's dogs isn't there.

I have seen hundreds of whitetail the last month,as well as mule deer and elk,I wouldn't mind seeing a saluki on a speed goat,I think the pronghorn would smoke it though.

In speed I think so, but it's their fabled stamina that I'd like to see put to the test, some of the claims seem impossible, but, you never know until you try it.

Think it’s all these challenges he’s put down and accepted the pressure is getting to him closer to the season we get
