Pardus 970
Last year about a hour in to our flight a lady collapsed and had to be given CPR, we had an emergency diversion to the new airport Istanbul airport where easyJet didn't fly to at the time. Once we landed and they got her off we were sat about on the runway and the pilot announced that him and the crew would be out of their hours so we couldn't fly that night. There was no reps in the airport and there was a lot of confusion, the police confiscated all our passports and did checks before handing them back over. It took a good few hours to sort but we were booked in to a hotel about 45 mins from the airport and we were picked up by coach. We were delayed by over 24 hours but the only thing we could claim back were our food expenses, the situation was classed as an unforeseen circumstance. That's coach travel lol I mean to spain an such What are you after mate? Like Mack said pick a place, book flights and airb&b it. I know a great place in Gran Canaria and another in Split. Some fantastic places up the coast from me. Away from the tourists but with great public transport into the city/tourist areas if you fancy it. If you’re after a beach but with plenty nearby check out San Pol de mar. If you pick something near me I’m happy to meet you at the airport (El Prat) and get you on your way to where you need to be Edited May 16 by mushroom

A bird who our lass works with has a campervan and she goes to the islands of Scotland and they are truly breathtaking, white sands and turquoise sea, she's just been to the Isle of Harris.
