In the unlikely event the country did shut down again the "I'm not playing ball" brigade will be wandering around with f**k all to do anyway same as last time. Now if a shut down came and the government didn't pay furlough I may be inclined to agree with you but whilst they are dishing out "free money" no chance. Both me and the wife never stopped working through out the pandemic her in care and me in a parcel delivery warehouse. IMHO I don't think there will ever be another lock down again as lessons will have been learned from the knee jerk reaction by the government from the last one and unless Marshall law is enforced i can't see the public accepting it tbh.

The public will accept it mate if they are getting paid to accept it, people who then continue to have to work like you and your wife wont have any option because nothing will be open like last time. You will then get the ones who are getting furlough going all righteous about people who wont accept the rules because they dont want to risk their "free money". It was a divide and conquer rule last time, like you I don't think it will happen again but if it did nothing would change. On a different note I've mentioned previously I don't think anyone who didn't get furlough and worked during the lockdown should be penalised financially now, those that did benefit should be taxed accordingly. If that would have been the case there may well have been more "not playing ball" I can assure you.
scotty12 3,772 Posted Thursday at 11:32 Report Share Posted Thursday at 11:32 Council tax is about to go up again heating bills are about to take a sharp rise again lockdown coming this time without any furlough payments I say a perfect storm is brewing to make the sheeple revolt. Oh the times they are a changing
