I like the double decker buses that have been converted. They'd be class if the UK was bigger imo

Europe and beyond mate ;)

Seen some good conversions but it’s the height that puts me off going down that route.

lol i thought here out 7.5 ton needs a tacohraph so commercial

insurance etc could be wrong

It’s all to do with how it’s registered. If it’s down with VOSA as a non-commercial vehicle etc. I think you can even get away with being tested at ministry weigh/test stations too. Just don’t take my word for it and start running it on kerosene, chip fat or derv

I looked at this for a few years and the reality is a lot different to the dream, I always wanted a horse box to convert but things like mpg ,access and storage make them only really practical to live in then the buy a van and do it out option works out quite dear to buy an old dhl van that’s been ragged to the moon and back then all the kit for a nice fit out as opposed to ply lined bed and wood burner option so in reality the best value for money option was wait till crimbo and brutally pull someone’s pants right down sleeps 4 full solar fridge cooker heating shower drop down bed in roof and rock and roller bed down etc for less than a decent running van

Cheers 🍻   are you any further on ? ... mine came up in the next village,  older couple had it from new, wasn't even advertised TF..its a bit of a unicorn really,  and i got it for a great price, still more than I originally wanted to part with but I would have been a fool not make this deal,  she's a beauty,  they don't come up  like this very often.

No nothing that suits me yet.

The right one will come up , its just a waiting game, if you are in no rush they'll be plenty come the back end.

Nice bus hope you have lots of fun in it do you have any future adventures or road trips in mind

Nothing planned as yet , I'll be spending this weekend getting it shipshape,  not that it isn't,  but just make it fresh and ours if that makes sense.
