Talking about you liking strong hares MC be good for you to look after that land and just from an hypothetical point of view.

I'm a big believer in hybrid vigour get to the best places that are known to have the best hares parts of cambs lincs long n gate net n some beaters you won't regret it plus save em from the annual hate shoots.

Did you know that's how they did at the waterloo cup they used to get the hares from 15 minutes were I used to live and release autumn or a few months before

As you know L , I've dropped rabbits from different areas for years now.  Yes the virus blows through.  But doesn't wipe them out totally and they bounce back quickly.  Hybrid vigour pal

Yeh ever experimented with hares

With no beaters I think it best to just use gate nets in the gateways in fields or were the tractors enter the fields on arable you won't get alot that way but odens n still worth it every week late season or over the back end of summer.

Thats it mate n why I said late season or end of summer but what I mean is for someone who doesn't have beaters or want to use hundreds of yards of longnet I think a gate net be fine for odd ones n chip away at em?

Million %

Its no good to try n put them on land were there isn't any as there must be a reason why there not there n don't do well in the first place but if you have good land were there's already hares that is were it's ideal n the hybrid vigour provides good conservation and even better future sport..
