They have to raise their own funds and find their own investors……weird set up mate. Not owned by Chelsea but using their name ?.....these birds teams all have an affiliation to mens clubs in some way or another as nobody would be interested..... investors are not daft they're not going to throw money at 11 random treacles taking a break from the ironing......too far ? 1

The club sold the team to the clubs holding company and they then sold off shares in the team. I’m sure it’s all an elaborate accounting scheme way above a simple hawker like mes pay grade, but yup, Chelsea FC don’t own the team…..a completely separate entity mate. Mental isn’t it. But it stemmed from Chelsea FC......it wasnt 11 sorts out of the launderette got together and formed " Blonde Ballers " They rode the back of one of the most famous football clubs in the world and then said " we're doing this all on our own "

I’m sure it all makes sense to marketing offices somewhere.
FLATTOP 5,183
Well in just over 2 hours time Southend United could be heading back into the football league after years of turmoil and near bankruptcy’ at Wembley today in the playoff final which they only scraped into the playoffs by one point. All the best against Oldham today. COME ON YOU SHRIMPERS

Hopefully we will be back next year as you say there’s a never say die spirit at Roots Hall even though they can be hard to follow some times.
