This is the pup i kept myself out of the Red bitch.

There are running dogs for every speciality brilliant at their specialty's already in the UK. I would see little point importing any running dog into the UK

This is Willow, another of myersbg's pups. 29in tts & 35 kg. I wouldn't swap her for anything.

I’ve imported two dogs from Australia and one from Saudi, but sadly none were running/working dogs.

Too late in my life to do it again but looking back I would have imported running dogs from Australia, America and the Middle East, I’ve had the opportunity but never took it.

Cheets.

What type of dogs did you import Chartspolski ? Were they all the same breed ? I've often thought about importing certain breeds to New Zealand but for two major Faults, they would be a dead end breed unless somebody decided to also important some of the same breed within the lifetime of my dogs & the second is NZ hunters are very relaxant top try a different breed that has a fair cost attached, and to be fair a lot of hunters don't understand nor have any real know age of new breeds. I saw two new breeds enter NZ in the last 3 years, their owners bred them & found the pups were a very hard sell, shame because both breeds would have added value to the hunting dog scene. One breed was Blue tick hounds and the other was the Teckel.

The dogs I imported from Oz to the UK couldn’t be further from working dogs, they were a chihuahua and a miniature Manchester Terrier belonging to my daughter who lived in Oz but was repatriating to the UK.
The dog I imported from Saudi to the UK was a Doberman. She was a replacement from a friend who gifted me a Saluki which died aged 17, and when I retired I brought the Doberman home with me.

Cheers.
