As I said, I feed the garden shitter kibble, when he was a pup I got him some raw mince, he scoffed it but as quick as it went down he spewed the c**t straight back up, so, back to kibble. Lol

i’ll make stews for the dogs season mate boil hares but i’ll feed raw bits at times raw meaty bones etc 

try it raw v a stew mate see which the dog enjoys more

Young Gus this afternoon..the pic of him with Bear could quite easily be their sire Boots with Bear..Gus is very much like Boots & I suppose that's no surprise with him actually being 3/4 Boots

They seem to do ok on what I feed them & generally look ok on it too..top & bottom of it is they get nothing fancy at all & my day's of being bent over skinning/gutting all day & putting it through the old Hobart mincer are pretty much done..my only advice is this,whatever you feed,be pretty consistent with it & feed at the same time daily...& my biggest bit of advice if feeding kibble is this CHECK THE INGREDIENTS..if meat is NOT the first ingredient on there then rest assured it's rubbish no matter how good the packaging looks,if it states cereal that's the WORST of all followed closely by wheat & corn..you want to see a source of meat as the number one ingredient & when you see a bag of dog food with the word WITH 'Chicken etc' that means it has by UK law ONLY got to have a meat content of 4% and that can be by animal derivatives which could be anything or even worse just meat gravy..I know it's a minefield out there but don't be fooled by the marketing that many of these brands put out there.. anyways it's almost the weekend so have a good one folk's,watch how ya's go & stay safe whatever you're doing & wherever you go

That's what it says on the bag matey,it's stated that for all the year's I've been using it anyway bud,not sure if the 'crude protein' is different to what is usually stated on dog food or not?

Thanks bud,he's a lovely pup to be fair to him, currently on the beach with him & the others for their final bit of exercise this day..he's coming along nicely anyways,started him retrieving back over fences & gates today,perfect at the first time of asking he was.. hopefully he makes half decent
