I am miles away from any coastline mate that's why I questioned the validity of it. I will have a walk around the same place tomorrow to see if it comes up again. As for the linnets I've never seen as many feeding on some set aside.

Black bird my favourite, for such a common bird a lot just take it for granted but the variations in it,s song are brilliant,,,, love  hearing to great tits too ,,ya know springs on its way
