Oopsy, I did it again....

So sorry but I shot twice again.

It's gotten so bad now I don't know I'm doing it!

The 130yard buck went down to a spine shot but within seconds my nasty habit of quickly reloading ended it instantly when I saw it lift it's head.

After a full day in the field I've seen one fox and seen six fallow. One was a super mature buck with heavy antler.

The second shot although destroyed the liver of the downed buck took the top of the heart off and exited.

Time for a wee whiskey I think.

Thought that was a whitetail for a second!

And no way SD ! You telling me you took a shot  and dropped and animal at 130yd WITHOUT A HIGH POWERED SCOPE ?! PREPOSTEROUS!!!!

Lol I'm kidding, of course, wonderful job, glad to see older guns still working. Is that a 30-30 ? Can't remember you had a 30-30 for some other caliber .
