Lenmcharristar 10,234
Any of yas watch it? SAS rogue heros, its good watching but theyve fecked up blair maynes character, making him out to be just a drunken irish thug, which i dont think the family are too happy about. The man was a true warrior and hero on the battle field not to mention the most decorated soldier of ww2. The least they could have done is get an actor fitting his stature ffs
Arry 24,451
I enjoyed the program mate and looking forward to the next series. Yeah I agree if the man wasn't like that but I kinda like the way he is, but if thats not his true character then your right and it is wrong. Cheers Arry

Lenmcharristar 10,234
Its defo a good watch, but if they stuck more true to his character it would have been even better, he makes rambo look like a pacifist lol, many yrs ago liam neeson was supposed to play him in a movie but it never went ahead, now hes too old, he would have made a cracking movie of mayne, theres bound to be a script writer that could make it a blockbuster, maybe pressure the corrupt government into finally awarding him the VC he deserves
socks 32,253
Apparently he was as portrayed in the series a hard drinking man that would fight anybody at the drop of a hat. Brilliant rugby player that played internationally for Ireland and the British lions. Exceptional soldier and hard as fukcing nails l. lots of rumours that he was gay with apparently documented evidence. You wouldn’t have called him a faggot to his face lol. Lololol, i dont think the faggot part is true, his family deny all that crap, im sure the killing changed him all his ex service comrades say he was a perfect killing machine and loved it, they said he was happy when he was killing but was most dangerous when he was not, ya ever watch the old footage taken in the 80s where it interviews david stirling and the originals? It was great too, maynes family have all his stuff and he wrote letters to all the families of men who died under him when in the SAS, he was a highly educated man aswell, i think the rainbow nazis are just trying to claim him as he never married, the poofery brigade should leave his memory well alone
socks 32,253
Makes no difference whether he was gay or not he was an exceptional soldier and was instrumental in forming the best special forces unit in the world.

He was defo a mans man, heavy weight boxing champ in uni, crack shot at shooting, cracking golfer, irish and british lions caps and only the most decorated soldier of ww2 and founding member of the SAS, somehow i cant see him waving a rainbow flag down belfast lolololol, oh aye and he loved his sports cars and the old TT racing in county down, defo wouldnt say the hobbies of a woofter. Dont let the assholes ruin the mans legacy, unless ronnie kray tried to emulate him hahaha
socks 32,253
He wasn’t the most decorated soldier of ww2 mate. And you don’t have to flounce around in pink feathers and rainbow coloured hair to be gay. If he was was so fukcing what doesn’t change the man he was.
paulus 26
I though the way it was alluded to in the programme was done well. Just a mere touching of a hand on the piano.

socks 32,253
I’m sure Tommy Macpherson was the most decorated British soldier of WW2.

I was a bit wound up at them being there to be fair. When all of those people pledged their elegance that were fully aware of the rules, If they had been marching on there own merit then i would have had no issues but to march as a group was wrong in my opinion.
