Most diabetics are t2 that suffer from high sugars , which has been said in a previous post can damage eyes, kidneys, heart, ect . Possible getting a little low on glucose so your body is increasing its dependence on using fats/protein to fuel your body, its what happens when runners hit the "wall" stores are finite.
