Birkenhead flat

Ron Gittins transformed his rented home in Birkenhead and now campaigners are trying to buy it.

I've always enjoyed walking into the houses of eccentrics, recluses and hoarders after they die.

Don't think I could some of his creations in my collection of stuff though

Me aswell mate i find folk like that more interesting than some of the wage slaves i work with.

I spent about 25 minutes yesterday chatting to a kid sleeping outside a Tesco on the pavement in a sleeping bag in London, really interesting kid, everyone's got a story, I made him laugh when I gave him some career advice, I like people ?

Think some times mate it helps our own mind to have a chat with folk a bit different or other interests than our own i am unfortunate to work with six other lads who have no real interests bar work and a bit of football and what was on the television last night one of them never takes his paid holiday's as he would sooner be sat on a fork truck. Some day's i just feel mentally drained been around them.

Different strokes for different blokes mate, that's what makes people interesting, some have a spark and some are flat batteries, it's the story that makes them interesting ?

True mate . I remember once hearing two of the younger lads in the warehouse going on about a stolen car and a police chase and the excitement in their voices thinking that's come as a surprise and out of character until it turned out it was a computer game they were talking about. lol

I once had a long discussion about hunting with a bloke, he kept referring to the fact he'd tried deer stalking so he could see some attraction to that.... I thought that strange from a vegetarian. Eventually he admitted he had tried deer stalking on a computer. He genuinely couldn't see the difference between real life and a computer simulation

I was visiting my mate up in the highlands and me, him and his lad went to the pub. Played his lad at pool for a tenner (he assured me he was a shit hot pool shark) anyway he was shit and I mentioned that fact, asked him how often he played. Answer?, never played on a real table just on my phone. Needless to say the next game was for twenty quid.

Welcome to my world ……

if it wasn’t for what’s apps from a few lads I’d go f***ing mental in my day to day existence .

“When I got back from afghan , I invested heavily in bitcoin “

“yeah I bought a house , “

“Oh did ya aye ? I went out throwing my dogs at everything I could find while trying to make my misses airtight nightly , pass the toast “
