The Russians appear to have modified a machine-gun-toting robot dog from the model sold by Hangzhou-based Chinese company, Unitree Robots.

The real leaps and bounds will be made in networking the next generation of fighters and drones. Once all battlespace assets are talking to each other and optionally autonomous then there becomes an unavoidable tactical advantage to giving them full control of their weapons. At that point things could really ‘escalate’. :laugh:

You don’t think the infantry role can be replaced by a machine?

Obviously it’d have to be trained to drink to excess, whore itself around every port town and eat entire packets of crayons, but you don’t think that’s possible one day? :D

Or one day we will just learn to stop being played by our masters and just learn to get along and spend this never ending pot of money on health and well being for the masses, but think we need some more destruction and loss of innocent life first before we return to a better simpler way of life and wake up from this shithole we are creating on behalf of the people who are meant to have our best interests at heart ??
