Fckn candy, dont you mean sweets??

My grandson from Saudi arrived yesterday and he's asked for "chips" (crisps), and "candy" (chocolate).

He obviously gets those words from the American curriculum at the International School he attends.

Ive got a month to correct his vocabulary, but he's a quick learner ??

Cheers.

Get the lad up the coast Charts on the beach between Seahouses and Bamburgh Castle.

Theres a little gravel parking bay about 1 mile before Bamburgh at the back of the dunes on the roadside.

A nice pathway there thru the dunes onto a Great expanse of beach ‘always plenty room.

When the tide is out some cracking pools of water and golden sands for kids to play on.

A abundance of winkles in the rocks.

A hour in Seahouses pre or post beach
and it’s a cracking day out for all.

A Visit around Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle would be educational

They do stuff for kids inside Alnwick Castle and a day on Holy Island is always a nice day out.

Plenty on your doorstep for sure to give your Grandson some memories to take back home.

Beamish is another good shout.

Enjoy anyways yous have waited a while with the Covid carryon.

Yeah,  we haven't seen him for over two years because of the Covid restrictions, they were much tougher in Saudi.

We have a lot of things planned, but the first thing was to get him the "Saudi themed" Newcastle strip and a football, they are "soccer" mad over there.

He also like Lamborghini's, and there's a place in Sunderland where he can be a passenger in one and a racing driver does a few laps of the circuit.

It looks like a busy time ahead !

Cheers.
