Its a really nice place mate its like a clean version of London ....they have a right wing prime minister Viktor Orban which was what drew me here just to suss the place out,and yes its a nice place,very refreshing for a capital city.....bottom pic is Shoes on the Danube which was grim reading but certainly an interesting place full of history and pride. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I've only driven through really had a few stop offs in other parts of Hungary , used to stop before driving through Austria , it's far more affordable than anywhere else en route back to UK, some or the architecture is great , stopped in a four star place in the sticks once it was like a grand hotel out of miss Marple slightly gone to ruin , vines everywhere. mostly on tight budgets but always stayed in nice rural spots , didn't seem as clinical and efficient as Germany Austria etc, but these were just road trips really. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
