I'm certain they'll rise , they've predicted record inflation next year , and house prices to go up 12% so I'd imagine they'll try and balance that with hiking interest rate. They'll also be a lot of rental properties being sold, which could be a concern for us , housing shortage will come to the fray very quickly if that happens...

Minimum wage is a scam mate imho, always has been. It forces more people into the tax system and above certain thresholds and ultimately the cost of increased wages is paid by the consumer in higher prices…..basically, it’s robbing as many people as possible and dressing it up like they are doing people a favour. You have to hand it to them, it’s brilliant really. 2

chartpolski 28,007
People were cheering Boris and Sunak when they had a photo op at a pub. Why ??? You need to drink 30 pints to save less than a quid ! And the breweries are already saying the savings won't be passed on to the customer, they'll be used to offset other rises like the rise in minimum wage. Ive never seen a budget in my lifetime that has made a normal working man better off, when all the rhetoric is disected, we are allways worse off. Cheers.
