Got to be here an hour before take off mate and as they are just rolling in and out all day I’m stuck been here 8 hrs already just behind the girl dog handler under the hawthorn I’ve been watching a munti feeding quite happily oblivious to the madness going on around him

And another one.its madness up here have had locals shouting at plane spotters old bill everywhere moving them all on and apparently the crustys are protesting at the main gate lol

Knackered after hand digging these gate posts, 3’ down, was told all the services were there, found one water pipe, , going to have to go back to hang the gate and a couple of other jobs he wants us to do, off to sunny Middlesbroughstan tomorrow, can’t wait

Beautiful morning first plane in at 730 so a quick check around the quarry before another ten hours on the approach

Old bill been out early to keep the spotters at bay  first plane out 745 then every hour or so throughout the day so looks like another 10s in the van and no shooting this wars proper disturbing my peace lol

On by the hour here so sat in the van until half one before I could get a start, Middlesbrough really is a sh*t hole, it’s like working in a third world country, it even smells different to other areas, the only English person I seen today was arguing with herself walking up the middle of the road with a tit hanging out this is student accommodation, fu*k knows what they think when they turn up at Middlesbrough university and see where they will be living
