I agree with you, to dedicate to one is thd only way to master it...

Unfortunately I'm not built like that, im happy to run a float through a river or catch a cod off a wreck... I've done a little fly fishing, thats something I'd like to do more of.... ill be average to shit at all of it, but have a go!! Lol

that is a beast.

i do abit of everything ... mackerel/gar on float, light estuary work, beach but find that with kids and work i cant fish as much as id like so stick to the one that really does it for me, on the rocks with big rods and big baits

Looks like fun @NEWKID

Do yall use any depth finders or electronic  equipment  on your kayaks to find places to fish?

No way … he can smell where the fish are.

I had a sat-nav, sonar and downrigger on mine. I bought a rip off CD off ebay about fifteen years ago that had the coordinates of thousands of wrecks and the depths of everywhere in the world's seas. It was brilliant. I could paddle out and drift or anchor over a sandbank,  reef or wreck.

I've got a fish finder that came with the yak, but have never used it.

Just a bit of luck and local knowledge is all I rely on lol..
