Amazing how social media and YouTube has given the perception that people like him, Anna Brees and Emma Kenny are some kind of heroes because they take an echo chamber opinion of what they believe is true.

The video proves nothing, it's him standing at the side of a house with a broken door (which is hilarious), with video that doesn't show the officers badges or the police force they represent. He refers to them as "Nottingham Police", there's no such force, it's Nottinghamshire Police. There's no sign of the £1,000 door he claims that he purchased after the alleged incident.

Belfield is a master of self-promotion and clearly a talented presenter, but that doesn't make his comments any more truthful than a contestant on Would I Lie to You.

This is what the Police are supposed to do when conducting a search:

Before you’re searched the police officer must tell you:

  • their name and police station
  • what they expect to find, for example drugs
  • the reason they want to search you, for example if it looks like you’re hiding something
  • why they are legally allowed to search you
  • that you can have a record of the search and if this isn’t possible at the time, how you can get a copy

According to the video the first part was evidently not done.

With no ID on either their uniforms or the police van they could have been in fancy dress.

He sounds like a BBC employee, who your man has a case against

I'm just interested on how it all turns out,  sure he's a attention hoe and sure he likes to press buttons but does that warrant the  persecution from the feds he has  received ?
