Hard wiring directly to tracer battery

Could anyone help me out, I'm looking to hard wire my lamp directly to my tracer battery. The cigarette lighter connections keep breaking

Had same problem mate just deleted the cig plug no problems since

Literally just cut the plug off strip wires back put shrink wrap sleeve on wind wires together then soldiered then pulled shrink wrap sleeve over shrink it with lighter then wrapped it with black electronics tape picture is finished article

Could just use crimp connectors be easier then just electrical tape it

No problem fella them cig plugs are a pain in the arse nowt worse than a lamp that keeps pissing about when your getting a run in or cuts out mid run

I use the big Jack plugs and if you get caught up in a fence or branches etc it can pull out but stays in with normal use never had one pull

the cig connection has to be the worst ive seen on these lamps always fail
