What If Rabbits Could Kill You?

Recommended Posts

Lol pushing a dog to the limit .That takes a man to do the same and is a rare thing  .To push a dog you first need to find something to run that’s out the ordinary but not many want to get out their comfort zone or travel to do that .If you’ve been  that man Wilf then fair play ,maybe you’d share a few stories with us as I’m guessing all pre ban from your age .

Every dog has a limit so what does that prove other than another pass on with a f****d diaphragm .

I have seen two (What I consider) good dogs and never owned any (other than a little terrier who’s heart was in the wrong size body)

One was a dog called Paddy, a Wheaton greyhound and one was a dog called Tigger.

I have travelled widely but been very selective about who with so I can’t claim any experience whatsoever of what dogs are out there mate.....there could be thousands of outstanding dogs for all I know, but I doubt it.

But if it’s breeding stock we are talking about then something with a sickening level of barbarity and bottle would be the foundation to go to imho, not old Shep who takes rabbits like a good un but draws the line at big brutal bits of kit.

But hey, that’s just me......what the f**k do I know about it ?

Just to add, point is most people are in no position to own the go to dog, they have kids and live stock and not enough graft to keep it satisfied.....most people just CANT own it

Yes mate, but in fairness even Tigger was limited in his experience of certain things but was absolutely without equal to anything I ever personally witnessed at the things he did do.

Same for the dog Paddy.

I remember going up to Neilston Working Terrier Show with the intention of having a bit craic with Foxgun Tom, Gash and the lads, but I was roped into judging the lurcher show when the judge let them down at the last minute.

I'd never met Mik or seen his dogs, but I had no hesitation in giving Tigger Best In Show. Of course this meant nothing in working ability, but he invited me up to his permission to see his dog run, and run mine.

Sadly I never made it.

Cheers.

If it took 2 adult bull Xs to kill a fox cub I’d shoot the pair of them !
