king 12,031 Posted September 10, 2020 Report Share Posted September 10, 2020 I bought this cast iron kingfisher holding a fish door stop a few weeks ago. I don’t know the age on it. But the way the paint has faded I’m thinking it must be over 60yr old. The plan is to get it sand blasted and painted in the closest paint colour I can then laquer over it. And want the minnow coloured like a rainbow trout What type of paint should I use ? or can someone on here do the work for me. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The very few kingfishers I've seen in the wild have amazing colours.
