iworkwhippets 13,169
Fek me my back garden is alive with the buggers, as soon as I go outside feed the birds before ive got back in the house, the buggers are out, I was going to knock up a raised feeding area for the birds but its done nowt but rain all day, so if its fine tomorrow I will get stuck in, I get a variety of bird life, I even get the odd sparrow hawk swooping down and taking the odd sparrow, at the moment I have put a plastic garden table out for the birds and the rats are doing there best to climb up , gimmee summat worthwhile to do tomorrow

chartpolski 28,041
Definitely from feeding the birds ! My neighbour had bird feeders and tables until the bowlers started to arrive ! I did warn them ! Ive two big allotments with hens and ducks, and I'm fighting a losing battle with the rats ! Poison, traps and shooting doesn't make inroads as long as the buggers have food to go at, so it's a bit of sport for me and the dogs trying to keep them in check ! Cheers.
