#22 pheasant this season was taken today with my small muzzleloader.

It was a lovely day, out of the cool wind the sun was hot!

The rabbits are thinking of breeding now and are in top condition. I worked my way along a bank of scrubby hawthorn and brambles and got in amongst a group. I held out for a buck and ended up with a perfect specimen.

This .45 is deadly with just 50'ish grains of powder and near 3/4oz of shot.
