cantona 310
Anybody use lamlac for there pups , good or bad idea? Quote Link to post
jigsaw 11,809
i used it for the kelpie x i bred right up to 6 weeks of age,a massive help to the bitch rearing the litter, and great to put weight on the pups mixed /mashed in with minced beef,..i believe it makes the difference between a pups coming on and a litter thriving quickly...i couldnt recommend it highly enough in my opinion anyway... C.green 3,203
I use it for terriers cant see it benefiting a pup more than goats milk though.too much fat in a pups diet can scour them aswell Quote Link to post
cantona 310
My pups 8 weeks old, would goats milk be the one to give or lamlac? How often would you feed it, a friend of mine gave lamlac to his bulldog until it was a year old and dog always looked good but maybe goats milk just as good if not better? Quote Link to post

Personal preferance mate I'd rather use goats milk personally as it's not formulated and I always think they look well on it abit in the morning luke warm does the trick settles them down as well I think Quote Link to post

joe ox 2,547
Lamlac or goats milk is good, if u only have one pup and you can get it use goats milk even better if you know someone with milking goats. Quote Link to post

downsouth 6,837
Never seen the logic in giving any kind of milk to pups unless a bitch is not producing enough milk especially once they're weaned.Plenty of good quality meat and a decent biscuit 3 or 4 times a day will grow a pup well enough. cantona 310
Why would you blindfold a goat before you milked it like Quote Link to post
