First pheasant.

Recommended Posts

Each year I like to kick off on the pheasants with a muzzleloader.

I managed to do it again this year. The break in the rains saw me out after work.

We flushed a bird at about 25yds, left to right. The 36g load of #6 had it coming down about forty yards away in thick nettles!

I fancy diced and cooked in white wine and dijon mustard for this one.

Happy hunting you feller's this season.
