Was that nicely soft or snotty?

This one has a particularly large, round bottom; much like a good woman!!

Medium. With an egg that size it can end up cold in the middle and cooked on the outside if you under do it. Some say 9 minutes but it depends on what people's perception is of when has the water actually started fully boiling rather than simmering. If you like it really runny then give it 9 minutes and if it's under done then scrape it into a mug and drop that into the water to finish it off or else a quick go in microwave. The eggs I used were very large, as big as 3 duck eggs.
