Am still about.

Recommended Posts

Been a bit low, you know, winter.

To many bouts of cold and flu.

Anyway got a few.

Raised that one early morning after spotting some a activity the morning prior. 2oz of BB sorted it at 15 yds.

Took about 30+ pheasants this season which is good for me.

Had to recently add a vent liner to Bessy.

It's made a huge difference to her efficiency.IMG_20190218_190537.jpg.3343dff4435f0ff08dedca06f53c7639.jpgIMG_20190218_191128.jpg.d8158b4998e1f124e272384102642178.jpg

So how you all doing?

Nice one U. Glad your jiggery pokery with Bessy paid off, I wouldn't attempt it, everything I touch lately seems to go wrong ?

I've not been around too, got a young Doe mid January and been in Mexico since last week. Waiting for the rabbits to recover but judging by the state of affairs it might be a while yet.

Mexico! Building a wall?

Young doe, what's her name?  (If that's ok).

Thought you had been quiet.

whats a vent liner, am totally ignorant on bp even though I have a few wall hangers.

looking forward to seeing some reports.

If I'm not mistaken the vent hole is where the powder from the pan ignites the powder in the barrel. I'm Normaly wrong though and will be corrected ?

Your right mate.

Over time the flash hole or vent get bigger from flame erosion.

Bessy's was 3mm so I drilled a stainless M5 bolt with a 2mm hole. Drilled and tapped Bessy's vent M5 and screwed the new vent in place.

She was getting very powder greedy!

This is like a gastric band and now her appetite for powder has returned to normal measures .

It was worth doing as she is a willing girl! That big lock is still quite fast and she rarely misfires.
