Hi I've got a 14 month old lurcher who's does what he needs to do when lamping but when hes court his game hell retrieve it so far then he messes about with it and will run round me until it's dead or wont move. Has anyone else had this problem that can help thanks

Mine dose it best to not get angry with um I walk away gets the dog back but he leaves the rabbit in place slowly getting better just takes time more you do with um the better they will get

Is there another dog there because sometimes it's a jealously thing if not try walking backwards calling him or crouch down and try calling him in in a soft tone  but never snatch at his catch try and make a game out of it of him releasing it it will come with practice

Still a sapling yet playing the mane he catching patience and it will come good .give him a few retrieving games back in a situation some blind retrieves will bring him on fa when back out in ta field atb bill
