I drove a 2011 xtr from brand new till it was 3 year old, drove it hard never missed a beat.

Only thing is I think with citroen is the hdi is a noisy engine and bit fumey you can always tell when your stuck behind a citrien/Peugeot in traffic and the plastics get brittle on interior and under the the bonnet.

Also from what I can gather they are not as good as the older berlingos?

I 've used the citreon berlingo xtr for a few years mad amount of room in them, great ground clearance lots of mpg, perfect for someone with a young family and a dog man- the car is cheaper than the van type and less tax- just black out the rear windows (about £20 on e bay)

This is my dog bus at the minute, with the wife working more at the weekends because of the covid situation I needed something that I could get the kids into as well.

Its the 140bhp 2.2hdi that's been mapped to almost 200bhp. Shite ground clearance but don't think it'll be much of a problem. And for under a grand it'll do the trick for a while.

XTR  has the plate underneath (well needed!) more ground clearance and better traction control, not sure on the vtr

Leave it where it is mate unless it's exceptionally cheap.

Cheers, D.
