Me and my daughter Olivia are having a lovely holiday in Dubai.weather is red hot were staying on the palms the food is lovely people are very nice .but a tad expensive but hey you got to enjoy your self when you can

fair play, but for me the last place in the world id go to is a muslin country, hence why i give the fishing comp on here a miss lol

Hey there OK mate not had one problem while we have been out and about very polite /we are in there country the laws are very strict but we new that before we come it was a treat for my daughter passing her GCSE and getting top marks the wife could not get time off work so I brought her you have to be very carefully in this country father and daughter no holding hands and showing effect I on in public /but worth it the place is spot less and hotel is brand new dukes Dubai I cannot recommend a more lovely hotel expensive but you get what you pay for /7hours on the plane was the only bit I did not like but once through customs picked up in a lovely big Lexus and straight to hotel all in with the package I'd do it again

My mates wife and son went to Dubai this afternoon for a week,flew from heathrow.Enjoy your trip,your daughter deserves it for her exam results.

Me & the wife had a few nights in the Burge al arab (10 years ago) incredible experience but totally ott. Think they were still working on the Palms. Welldone to your daughter & hope you both have a great time. Atb

Where u staying mate recently stayed in sofitel the palm. Lovely country. Be sure to do the burj khalifa. Atlantis water park ect. Il be back next may/june ...

Lurcherman staying at the dukes on the palms mate lovely hotel.lots to do here but expensive.but I told Olivia you do the best you can in your exams and we will see about Dubai.she done fantastic .I was never any good at school to be truthefull if it was not for boxing and doing the doors I don't know what I'd of done .I'm 61 this year most of my mates skipped school to go bird nesting or get out in the country.we never gave much thought to later on in life.that's why I've always tried with my kids to tell them you need a good education .my eldest son is 35 he's head of social services for disabled people with mental illnesses I'm so proud of him.he boxed I said you fancy the doors he said you must be joking not the stories you have told me he started off doing rest bite and lworked his way up .I never had it in me .but kids these days need a good education for a good start in life.I wish all the kids a good start life is hard enough.ah well back to the beache
