Ben Nevis book

Im walking Ben Nevis in June with my brother in law and his mates. Along with some serious training I need to do I fancy a book to read an it the mountain im about to impregnate . Looking for something with the history of the mountain , animals , past events and history of it . Anybody got suggestions ?

I done it twice in September. 

Its a hard f***ing slog up there.  Second time i did it got caught in the snow. Man i was f***ing freezing! Couple times i thought about heading back down.  But just pushed on. Spent literally 5 mins on summit and got back down  lol

Seen pine martin@the top but i think it was lost! 

One thing its stunning views my advice do it early morning try avoid the tourists.  

You might see some stags near bottom.  

If you want next time im in town ill see if i can pick up a map or some literature and send you it.  

Rescue helicopter was buzzing around this afternoon someone apparently slipped and broke an ankle.  Its covered in snow just now.

I've seen a few on Amazon I like the look of just wondered if anybody here had read a good one

Yeah pretty clear , cloud came in soon tho.  Didn't dare go near the edge tho 

 

Didn't see ant wildlife tho, not even a bird
