terryd 8,994
I would have prefered jills if I am honest to slip through the nets but these two came up and from a good fella free of charge and from good workers. One will be snipped and the other left whole just in case I want to breed though not really the need. Right couple of characters the wife loves them and is all ways messing about with them. The coloured one is dam lucky to be here after a disastrous meeting with the lurcher when he was 9 weeks. My fault that and all sorted now. Getting used to the collar time now in preparation. They grow like hell turning into whoopers why me Edited August 9, 2017 by terryd 3 Quote Link to post

Aussie Whip 4,367
I've always kept hobs, more personality and good at pushing rabbits for the dogs. The older they get the better, mine rarely disturb the nets and if they kill come out soon after. 3 Quote Link to post

rabbit demon 302
I use hobs too. They get through the nets the same as the smaller jills. Hobs are more dog like and seem eager to please imo. Good luck with them. 1 Quote Link to post
terryd 8,994
First ever ferret was a hob a cracker of a worker. He got out one day and killed my grans favourite chicken so I came home to a dead ferret. She had a temper my gran lol 1 Quote Link to post
Bobtheferret 1,279
Always nice to have a hob or two, I never go out with out at least a hob in the box. Feel if the Jill's are struggling with a tough rabbit then a hob will normally speed things up! My hobs always seem to have an incredible drive and hunger for work to, keep going all day long if I need them to. Your two look like they serve you well. Good luck! 1 Quote Link to post
