Years ago our old family doctor was a highly educated chap called Dr Robert Mitchell and he had a surgery in New Cross.

Now, bare in mind this was when Jim Davidson was still allowed to do chalky jokes on national prime time telly.

Dr Mitchell was a leading figure in the National Front, he openly advised patients against interbreeding and mixed race marriges.

I can see him now as I write this, in my front room explaining to me (I'd have been about eight years old) the difference between a black mans brain and a white mans brain and the reasons why he thought the different cultures have no place alongside each other.

 

This was the time of massive discontentment and unrest, The battle of Lewisham, The Brixton Riots etc etc

He stood as candidate to be the local MP in that area, this articulate and intelligent bloke who spent his career curing locals of medical conditions, do you know how many votes he got?.......about 1200 !!

1200 in an old working class dock area where old ladies were scared to walk down the street !!

 

People didn't have Audis and 50 inch flatscreen tellys inside their 300k house then but the powers that be still managed to convince people that this fella, a man who spent his life living amongst the people he wanted to represent and helping them every day, wasn't a safe bet for them.......he was dealt with easily because he thought honesty about his beleifes was the way forward.....it wasn't !

What do you think your pudgy, over bloated Englishman who has all the luxuries in life is going to do now ?........f**k all thats what, because he is too shit scared the government will make his life difficult and the price of his credit life style may go up 2%

Again he is easily dealt with because he has too much to loose.

To much concern in gaining votes than keeping the ones you already have.most parties who suddenly become hugely popular overnight one day dissapear overnight.

The NF had 60,000+ members in the in the 70's,from what I'm told there where genuine hard men to geniuses involved,and they achieved precisely f**k all.

We aren't any position to fight the establishment. A lot of people are under the false pretence that the authorities would be unable to quash any civil unrest after watching riots in london and other cities in recent years. Yes the cops were under presdure and lost control a few times.however the type of protests you are describing im afraid to say it wouldn't be plod in a riot helmet and shield and baton in his hand you be facing!

 

As i said the state aren't idiots. They will have contemplated such unrest and plans willbe in place if ever it came to that.

The security services are probaly the best in the world @this kind of thing.From years of shady underhanded tactics in the north of ireland and even the miners strike.
