Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Labour have it clear they would further tighten up the hunting laws as well as look into all legal forms of hunting with dogs . They really can go f**k themselves .

They really can go f**k themselves . If they're so clear about it you won't have a problem pointing to where in the manifesto it says that? I've just looked and I'm struggling to find it

They really can go f**k themselves . Can you link to where you've seen this? The only thing I can find is that they've promised to end the badger cull. There's nothing in there manifesto about tightening up the hunting laws.

There's been two general elections since then...

Two general elections and just a bit of a shake up of the party leadership! I don't think anyone would try to say the Labour party are a pro-hunting party but to say they've got clear plans to tighten the laws and ban all forms of hunting with dogs is clearly bullshit. That would be suicide at this point. Regardless of the divide I don't think anyone wants to see taxpayer money/parliamentary time wasted on that again.

BGD 6,437
I assume Saluki71 was referring to a CLP meeting when he says "in house Labour meeting", I'd love to know which CLP this is that thinks they can set national party policy? We discuss all sorts of things at CLP meetings, doesn't mean they are or ever will become national policy...
