Breed standard id like to see that American cocker retrieve a Canadian goose from a white thorn hedge. The worst dog there had to be that German Shepard with its arse dragging the ground it will cost a few quid for the vet to treat that for arthritis in a couple of year all to achieve a sloped back.

The worst one won for me , a truly destroyed breed by the looks of it . The American cocker is proof of what happens when people who don't work dogs can destroy a working breed .

That's the thing, because as we speak there's dog lovers throwing their dogs into dogs homes so tomorrow they can get American Cockers isn't it better that an already destroyed breed becomes this year must have fashion accessory ?

I heard Clair Balding mention that the Lakeland is a vulnerable breed. Hopefully she's right and it becomes extinct so that only the few who work it hold on to it.

Bit of a coincidence that the judge in the Gundog section was once a breeder of American Cocker Spaniels!! And as for a working dog its a joke!

Had to chuckle when the owner of the dog said it would be harder to win the section as the judge was a breeder and would be more critical !!

Form follows function.

Do any of those dogs in the final line up have any function?

Would be nice to hear that the newfoundland has a bit of fun in the water, but the other 6? Just caricatures imo
