jiggy 3,208
If you send them back to bellmen and flint for repair they will usually just send you a brand new one rather than repair the case or screen it's easier than fixing them and there isn't a big charge. 1 Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
Is it the screen or just the outer cover if it's the outer cover I repaired mine with a piece of a thick lamination sheet and gorilla glue 2 Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
Just cut out over size so when you glue back it sticks to body of unit use a scalpel to cut out and use the cut out piece as template for the new piece of lamination sheet once it's glued in place it's as good as new 2 Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
Or you can use those gorilla glass screen protectors you get for mobile phones Quote Link to post
smasher 1,055
Anything over 5 years old they won't entertain,I had same problem with my screen and switch was dodgy, they said after that period they had pretty much run there corse and advised buying a new one, I repaired screen as above,ps. If anyone has a knackered one with casing still good I'd be interested ? Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,609
Good idea that Lee. Could you cut them down to size or would they shatter? I have a Pieps box with a dent in the screen too. Quote Link to post

smasher 1,055
is it hard to change the casing smasher?ive only ever opened it up the once woods,to try and fix switch, with a screwdriver with the right head,I'd be confident I could transfer the circuit board from one to the other, Quote Link to post
