Worst Season Ever

Had a season like that last year mate lost 6 dogs in matter of months ! Yet this season has a stormer sure you will have some good luck next season. !

That's it mate last summer I was thinking was it all worth it ! Now my pup I bred last year is coming into her own and I'm excited to see what September brings !! Hopefully jive summer off and your mutts we be all ready for action come next season

Tbh I did think is it worth all the effort grief & risks to dogs etc & was on verge of calling it a day!! But i know i'd miss it & dogs would go mental with out it. So as you say enjoy the summer months & hopefully back at them nxt season. Atb

Could be worse mate..... you could have my dogs.... even with a full complement of toes they are embarrassing!

I here yah mate I've had the maddest season I've had in a long while I had a young dog and bitch doing well both got killed on a road knocked me sick to be fair the young bitch was my lads dog he was there when it happened in a way I'm sort of glad he was there not wishing it on any body but in this game you have to always have it in the back of your mind one day it may happen and I want him to understand it happens it's not nice though,I was out Boxing Day with the terriers and the pointers doing abit of rough shooting terrier drops to ground just on dark 16hr dig in a horrible place with no light then in the mean time my pointer bitch gets shot accidentally by my dad who is a real gun safe person she's in vets for 3 days then I'm out one night lamp a young bitch I've got decides to go missing dog warden next day the other day she's off running somethin just before dust comes back covered in god knows next day she's got an eye like a golf ball and now she's damaged the lens on her eye I can't believe it. But apart from that yeah not a bad season

Think a few have had a bad season this year, I lost 2 dogs within 5 weeks at the start of the season. Really looking forward to September tho to start this young pup. Good luck for next season mate ?.
