Fx Pellets

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried them, or know anything about them ?

Got my wildcat back today after been sent back to ASI to see what the problem was (glad to report it did indeed have problems and has supposedly been sorted).

The test results that came back look promising, pellet on pellet at 30 metres.

But, they tested 3 pellet types, biz mags, one other I cannot remember, and fx 16grain pellets.

The fx pellets were the best, one hole group, and I have the cards to prove It.

Some say the fx are just jsb under a different name, some say they are from a different mold, does anyone know the truth as I quite fancy trying them but can't find any in stock to buy.

They are made by JSB and are available from any ASI dealer. Now interestingly enough I was having a chat with Rob at Pickering Guns, Si knows him well and Rob was saying that he recalls a Terminator that would not group well at all even with various JSB pellets so they bought in some FX pellets which was a game changer. The FX pellets worked really well.

Just looked on eBay and there are some FX 16gr pellets, soory don't know how to put on a link with Amazon Fire but they are there.

Hope that sort of helps.

Cheers Phil, I have tried every shop online and they show as out of stock, same on the bay.

I was told they are NOT jsb made, or certainly not from the same mold.

I have spoken to one gunshop who is a dealer for ASI, he said they need to buy 30 tins a time to get them in, I would buy that amount if I had tried and tested them and they were good in a few guns and right price.

The results were good in the cat.

If they are the same jsb pellet, kind of throws the story about the terminator at Pickering guns doesn't it ?

I am not saying they are the same pellet nor did Rob but they worked so perhaps a different mould. There are some on ebay, I will go fire up the computer and give you the link but all I did was to put fx pellet in the search bar and they came straight up.

Don't panic mate, I found some on the bay to get a sample, will see how they pan out before I decide if I want a bulk load.

Thanks, have never tried them, looked at them once but the price put me off.

Might have to try them.

Do you now Mac?

When I started I bought Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums, they were a cheap pellet, they were then anyway.

The quality was exceptional and they worked in the rifles I had.

Quite a few people laughed at me for buying them and said I should have bought Webley Accupell. Apart from the fact they were more expensive I might have followed their advice, turns out it was the same pellet!

Now the price has gone up on the Crosmans!
