well i was out three hours and had a good time with the 80 in 22 ,first squirell as a 25 yard head shot then all went quite for about 40 minutes then i spotted nimber 2 at the side of the tree but i pulled the shot and missed him ,i watched him run up the tree and in to a hole i waited 10 minutes for him to venture out and took him with a clean head shot nummber 3come 15 minutes later a 40 yard head shot ,2 minutes later a woody landed just where the squirell had beed took him out with a heart shot down he come ,on the way back to the van i spotted a squirell on a fence post but i could not take the shot as there was horses behind him,i watched him jump down an run over the road and up in to a tree30 yards from where i was i crept around and slowly put the bead on his head and down he come, all in all great bit shooting with a springer ive always said in the right hands there as good as any pcp ,the only thing is the whack when you hit your intended victim the gun even silenced is loud ,but if you are prepared to waite a while the wild life will appear again

jin when i was a kid there was only springers mate ,we used to set match heads up and see who could lite them at good distances we all practiced a lot with our pride and joy,and none of them were expensive guns and none of them done much more the 10lb something but still took good quary ,it was all about field craft getting as near as you could woth open sites scopes were a luxury then
