You could argue the dog needs 'rescuing' from the present owner. She says it is 'bouncy'. That's very unlike a mature deer/grey. They are normally laid back dogs. I reckon the poor bugger wants to be out running and hunting as nature intended. Must be going nuts living as a pet if it was formerly a working dog.

I should emagine he wants a lurcher that has boundless stamminer along with a very good nose that can hunt up and catch the pray he hunts for

your right we do want boundless stamina!!! but I really dont want hunting up to be honest im a lamping man, but if you did it would certainly add that, Im after a solid all rounder and one thing hounds would add to go with it are is strong, driven, tough and have a great working frame.

Its too bad yall cant get dogs from us. Id love to help you out with this project. My kinda dogs for sure except Id use one of our coyote greyhounds and are coyote hounds.

I have seen those coyote greyhounds on here I think someone posted a video with an old boy on in who kept them. To be honest there is plenty of good British stock around - just a case of finding the right ones. ATB S2H

Good luck. Hope ya find what you are looking for. I'm sure there are some good British stock but its just easier to find over here I would think considering we can pretty much hunt 10x more often than people in your country. We don't have any laws stopping us and some of us live in wide open spaces with a lot of game and coyotes are pretty much the ultimate quarry when it comes to a running dog of that type. I guess some would say white tail deer but you aren't gonna find a handful of dogs that could take one regularly and that is illegal so not being bred for.

Thanks for the input pal, I can only imagine North America would offer such a vast hunting ground but never-the-less we do o.k here in the uk. Bans or not we produce and breed dogs of the highest quality. ATB S2H

Monster but he can kinda run for a big dog.
