Popular Post neil b 2,448
After last weeks disaster with a snapped fan belt and not getting out we got there this weekend before first light we made our way steadily up the moor until the lurcher found us a mark I ran 150 yards of longnet out and entered two Jill's, a quick half dozen, pick up and just follow the dog, in no time I had a full game carrier of 10 I made these last weekend, following a YouTube link. We just let the dog mark occupied Warren's , longnets round, ferrets in and action... we were averaging 6from every warren with the dog snapping afew bolters up and a few digs I've just started two last years breed kits this season and am really impressed so far they have been a part of our team that have accounted for 100+rabbits so far in 3 outings here there is no easy small warrens they are all 30+ holes so there making the grade so far. We finished on 32 rabbits the long track back to the van for hot soup and an egg baguette then homeward bound. Cheers Neil b Edited November 26, 2016 by neil b 25 Quote Link to post

mullboy 29
What would you replace the net's with. Dog or gun? Just out of interest. I know hear on the island we couldn't use dog's after farmers are very stricked on them! Edited November 30, 2016 by mullboy Quote Link to post

neil b 2,448
Would have to be dog mate, not sure we would be permitted to use a gun with it being a grouse moor Quote Link to post
