well the weather was perfect in scarborough yesterday , mild and not a breath of wind!!

so me and my mate met up at the mecca, armed with the springers,

we took out a few ferrels around the buildings to keep the farmer happy and headed off to one of the big woods.. i was wanting a few woodys but theres still a fair few leaves on the trees:(

we stood next to one of the bigger trees and had a brew and just watched what was moving!

my mate was using a new prosport and i took the 95, he picked up the 95 out of curiosity just to have a feel and a woody came in so i told him to nobble it and that was the only woody of the session, the look on his face said it all.. he'd only had it in his hand a few seconds and dropped it freestanding at about 30yrd!!

i decided to go for a mooch cos he likes hiding and i get board!!

i gave up picking up the squirrels cos there were that many i couldn't keep track of where they were dropping and theres loads of leaves and undergrowth, neither of us eat them too!

after about ten mins i got a text calling me the grim reaper, all he could hear was pellet whack :gunsmilie:

they were everywhere going mad for the beech nuts!

recon i must of dropped at least a dozen but some of them at range required a follow up which i wasn't to happy about so we met back up and decided to put a couple of targets up and neither of our groups were bad but they could have been better so i gave him a few jsb heavys and both of the groups improved :thumbs:

in the afternoon after dinner i called in at the campsite perm to do some 40 yard zeroing, it stacks jsb,s :thumbs:

then took out a few of the woodys that they want rid off, some of the vans are covered in sh!t

knocked off 3 while i was talking to the owner too!! haha

and brested one for his mrs's tea!!

all in all a mint day

Good choice the r10, never owned one but I know a few lads who swear by em!

I hope so Si, Jimmy and Sean taught me a lot this weekend which was excellent. I'm looking forward to honing my grouping, I love the R10, however I did enjoy shooting Jimmy's ?s carbine ?? Edited by RSVNelly
