Kovalev Vs Ward.

Recommended Posts

Yes pal he is a mate of mine hes doing superb fair play to him and everyone def hasn't seen the best of him yet that's the best part as with corcoran he let the anger of all the abuse off him on social media take over the fight and it was a brawl not a boxing match but lesson learned there but Patterson is a completely different fighter and he's upped his game this time. It's going to be a great fight one of the best British match ups that could happen but my buddy has got this in my eyes. may the best man win ?. Atb adam

Theres a few good match ups from across the pond with garcia v thurman, lomachenko v Walters which are 2 fights to look forward to. I'm looking forward to watching my mate liam williams fight 26th thi

Ward to out point him, kovalev has the power advantage but ward is the better boxer.

You think Ward bossed the clinches, I didn't see that at all. I fail to see these technical moments Ward was having tbh. Kovalev was landing stiffening jabs throughout the fight. Ward is far from a ma

He looks a good fighter i like that style Williams has its not a nice style to face when you rely on distance.....ive seen a lot of Ahmet in the gym over the years and its no secret he hasnt always taken the game seriously enough.......he has a lot of talent and flair as an athlete but i do think this fight will make him realise he has to dedicate himself to the sport correctly.......best of strength and safety to both boys

Super welterweight mate as it's called now but light middleweight it was wasn't it. Atb

Depends what belts are on the line, both are correct. Julian Jackson has got to be the hardest punching Light Middleweight of all time.

The "Hawk" was a monster puncher and funny enough like a few of the of big punchers all his losses were by stoppage. Do you think there is a pattern of KO specialists getting kod themselves or is it more to do with the kill or be killed mentality ? Never really thought about it till now tbh .

He lost by stoppage to some great fighters in McCallum and McClellan. The man is the hardest hitter I've seen on film, he put lights out for a living.

Its no coincidence in my opinion its simply that a noted puncher will be putting 100% into most of his punches meaning that momentum is going to go against him when his opponent throws at the same time and lands.

Plenty of fighters get knocked out with shots while they are unloading themselves that in a defensive posture they would of taken easily....the force of a shot you take is virtually doubled when your going forward throwing yourself.

Getting excited for the fight tonight, still fancying Kovalev.....

Think ward will play it cute, and go for the points win....Kovalev fights better at range....think ward will fight in the pocket and do a bit of holding....rather see Kovalev do it....just to fook up all the mouthing about ward and GGG.....
