Haiddheliwr 1,911
I went to see a doctor who referred me to a physio. He confirmed what the GP had diagnosed and told me of the ball but as he had been in the army and suffered with the same condition he recommended the sorbothane insoles. Be sure if you do get some that you get the right ones. As I stated they did work for me! This is also known as Policeman's foot Hello Hello!

Haiddheliwr 1,911
King to be honest I'm not sure I think it was the double strike! If you read the link it will eventually show the ones for this condition. They are complete soles not heels. Sorry couldn't be more exact but this was years ago but since wearing them it has never returned ATB
king 12,031
Or you could just ... man the fukc up .......Well ive got 2 options really.1.try and ease the sharp pain in my feet so i can keep walking to dogs for a few hrs a day. 2.make a metal frame that attaches to the back of the car then tye the dogs to it drive down lanes.thinking to myself what a great idea this is. Whilst the dogs lungs are taking in huge amounts of diesel fumes and there coats stink of diesel. I think i will take option 1.

No no no we have moved on from that .... there is the phase 2 model now where you push the dogs along in front of the truck thus avoiding the fumes .......

Haiddheliwr 1,911
Use the insoles in the shoes, boots or wellies you use most. Most of all give em a chance!
mattyg 1,862
I have em in my work boots and my trainers and don't even realise they are there now.
Caravan Monster 323
I suffered with pain and swelling in ankles, arches and toes for years. Got diagnosed with everything from gout to plantar fascitis. 15 + years of podiatrist / chiropractic / osteopath treatment. Got sorted earlier this year by an exceptional osteopath who identified C2 (top of spine) was out of place. Not a pleasant experience having it put right, but now stand a few inches taller and have gone down a shoe size as my feet are back to normal after years of being swollen.

Jonjon79 13,358
The missus had problems with pain in the arches of her feet a while ago - there's a splint thing that you can buy - you wear it while sleeping. She used them for a couple of weeks and, so far, no further issues.
