Golf Course And The Primos

We have been away for a few days and I was itching to get out shooting so after what turned out to be the final shower of the night I got out at 8pm with the .22 tx200 hc welsh willie beast.

I had barely walked 20 yards and saw a couple of bunnies at 34 yards which is my zero and after a very kind thumbs up from a couple of stragglers on the course wanting to see me take the shot I think, I mounted the tx onto the primos from a standing position and squeezed the trigger and down went number 1 bunny much to their delight (and mine I can tell you..peer pressure)

So after a 10 minute chat with them about air rifles we went our separate ways and I did a quick lap of a few good spots that I know of and managed another 3 from 22 yards out to 43 yards, all lovely head shots and all bolled straight over with the 16grn AA fields.

The tx seems like it's fully settled with the new kit now and is actually very quiet, no twang and super smooth to cock and the fireing cycle is also silky smooth.

All in all a very nice nights mooch around.

I bet you my 97 if you got yourself a small Airmax for that rifle, you wouldn't look back for one second.

 

Seriously. Just have a look at one. I know you will of seen them, but trust. When you get it home and on that TX... Youll be like, Jesus, was that only 120 quid! It would pull the pants down on that Nikko mate allllllll day long. No offense to the Nikko but seriously it would.

 

Obvs the night eater is serving fine. Just something to think about.

im out to night with the hw100s carbine fitted with the nikko sterling mount masters

 

i think its a cracking scope and iv had some of the best out there and im even thinking of fitting one to my hw100s at the moment iv got the hawk panarama on her and i just cant get along with it so iv made my mind up to fit another scope to her

 

but my two fav,s are the mtc mamba and the ncstars

 

but i cant find the ncstars that i had fitted to the old raider fecking loved them old scopes

 

pellet of choice is the jsb heavy's or i may fill two mags one with bis mags and one with the jsb,s and see if its pellet fussy out from 30 to 60 yards as its not out to shorter distances and i dont even have to adjust zero at shorter distances
