BGD 6,385
Watched it on iplayer the other day, I didn't think it was too bad until the presenter started implying playing tug or using a springpole is a bad idea with bull breeds because it's teaching them how to kill and encouraging that sort of behaviour.... The sort of person who's just more attracted to the breed because of its illegal status sadly the dog cop at the end spoke sense, said any dog can be dangerous of any breed , but apbt when they bite will lock on/ wrestle in a hold , which most of bull terrier's do when there wound up and most bites were on kids under 10 years old. other breeds in general bite once or just snap few times, even breeds like gsd or rotties that have bitten people over the years, they dont have the mind set of a bull terrier pit, staff, ive got big strong dog now Buck 1x gsd x grey very powerful with very strong jaw, but soft with people and dogs as most lurchers are , but full on temp for hunting . i was brought up with bull breeds, pits, staffs, bullmastiffs, as kid , my old man never loosed them out of there kennels unless he was there never, because he knew what they were capable of , a great breed in the right hands

Thomas Breul 21
Can I get a link to view it as I'm on the Yankee side of the pond. For the record a old school game bred APBT is the least dangerous to humans of any large breed dog. Getting harder to find well bred pits tho. Media and thugs are ruining the breed. I'd rather let my kid play with three real pits than any lab pointer or spaniel. Those breeds were never bred to not bite a human despite extreame pain like a game bred dog was. They were once known to be good kid dogs that's why Pete the dog in The Little Rasckles show was a pit. Stereotypical kids dog back then. I'm curious to see what the show y'all are talking about says
